Acceleration hesitating slightly. . .any fixes??
OK, I did some research on this and can't seem to find a solution that really fits my problem so any ideas would be great. My acceleration hesitates in every gear (even nuetral) when I just slightly press the gas to move forward. Whether it's stop-n-go or on the road, and I my throttle cable has about an inch of slack in it. Which I believe is the problem. My TPS has just been replaced with a new one, although it's fairly new, but I'm still stuck on the idea that the throttle cable is to blame. Is there any way I can tighten the slack so that it's within specs?
I'm lost on this, and I really would like to fix it asap! Thanx fellas. . .

What is super grounding?. . .I haven't tested the TPS if thats what you mean. But the car you could say stumbles. It's more jerky than anything, and it only happens when I just start to press the gas pedal, at any RPM, at any gear, but worst when I am just starting to pull off; until it feels like it pulls tight onto the throttle cable, jerking forward. . . which is why I think it must have something to do with this.
Adjusting the throttle cable is pretty straight forward.
It will be even easier if you have an assistant press down on the gas pedal to give you some slack while you make the adjustment.
Free play should be between 1-3mm.

Thats my problem. I know I need an assistant for the adjustment, but that's as far as I know. What I need to know is HOW do I go about adjusting the cable? the nut that holds the butterfly on, from inside the throttle body or what? I'm at a loss like I said. . .
