AC Kills Engine At Idle....

Hey All,

Everytime I open the AC I need to keep my foot on the throttle to keep the engine from stalling. At first I suspected the BAC was dirty so I cleaned... with no effect.

Could this be a sign that the BAC is bad? Any way to check the BAC valve?

I have been working on the same problem for months. You might want to do a search on it. I havent gotten very far though. Maybe we can work togther on this?

Most likely the BAC valve. Search on BAC. Common problem with many posts. FSM has check procedures.

Thanks to all for the input. I checked the BAC per the service manual and it works fine. I'm thinking my ACV cluster being blocked off has something to do with this...

Or my modded ECU...
