7000 rpm Hesitation

I was running my car at the strip last night and was unable to rev past 7000 or 7500 rpm. Sometimes it would let me, but for the most part it was cutting out like it was fuel cutting or something. I didn't have any trouble at all running last week. Anybody know whats goin on with it?
Thnx

Real quick question . . .

So you noticed it was cutting out/hesitating, and you kept on running it hard? First of all, there's no power up that high anyway.. revving that high just kills the power band.. unless your trying to make the best out of your gears for the track.

Secondly if you feel something is hesitating, or cutting off than you should shut her down right than and there... you seem to have a couple of mods and i'm sure you know what your doing, but just be careful, rotary's can go boom... just like that

You are running lean with that list of mods. Put your stock TID back on and try reving to 7500.

Now go get some fuel injectors.

I was trying to make the most of 3rd gear in the 1/4 mile though making sure not to rev over 8k rpm. The hesitation varied between 6500 and 7500. When this happened I quickly shifted into 4th to prevent any damage.
Thnx

Not sure, but don't FC's have a rev limiter just above the redline?

Not sure, but don't FC's come with a rev limiter that kicks in just above the redline?

Re-adjust your FCD.

*edit*

12 PSI is the ragged edge of your stock injectors though.

You're kidding.. you should be trapping near 105 mph with what you've got done.

My '90 TurboII (in my sig) runs 13.75 @ 104.8 in the 1/4 mile, and this is with only 5.5 lbs of boost. You need 4th gear.

Oh, and don't listen to them, there IS power at 7500 RPM, at least on mine.. I had mine at the dyno and the torque curve is friggin' Kansas flat, and is only on a slow decline even around 7500 RPM.

Last night my best run in the 1/4 was 14.10 @ 101.29mph this was with a passenger and cheapo gas. I am sure the car is capable of running mid 13's once I stop it from fuel cutting.
