AC Compressor wiring

AC Compressor wiring
I'm putting my engine back together and have gotten stumped by not being able to find the single wire harness on the engine harness side that connects to the single wire harness coming off the AC Compressor.
It's a S5 turbo swapped into an N/A (also S5). I'm using all the N/A wiring. I've compared the same connection on a S5 N/A and seen that it's a black wire that gets wrapped up in the harness feeding to the main fuses in the engine compartment and disappears under the battery tray.
For the life of me I can't find that same wire on my turbo swap. I went through all of the wiring on the driver side of the engine compartment. The only wire with a matching harness I believe has to do with oil level sensor. I believe this based on this thread

And that the harness I found also fits the same piece being talked about in the above thread and also is on a Y/R single wire.
I've started going through the FSM schematics but haven't found it yet. The only wiring I've found for an AC component with a single wire harness is for the condensor B1-09 on B-1a of the FSM schematics.
I've had a conversation with a friend who believes it is a voltage signal to operate the clutch on the compressor. I'm hoping that it's a simple ground and that I can reground it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
