Anyone know if any second gen. motor came with the AC compressor on the
bottom left of the motor. I believe normally the powersteering pumps go there.

I am trying to convert the location of the AC comp on a T-2 motor(for a 1st gen). This way you dont have to create the snake of piping for the intercooler.

 

Second gen NA AC compressors DO mount on the lower corner of the engine with the power steering pump above.

 

do you know if any second gens came without powersteering. Trying to get a bracket, i guess i can probably modify the one with power steering.
