abs and non abs master cyllinders; the same?

for an S4 TII are the master brake cyllinders the same for the abs equipped and non-abs equipped vehicles? Thanks in advance.

The difference must be pretty subtle.
I pulled my ABS pump & control unit when I did the J-spec swap.
The brakes now work better than ever.
