Abs?

I just got an '87 TII and was wondering if it has ABS. I looked in the owner's manual, and didn't see anything about it in there. I have a Hayne's manual for it, and it said that ABS was introduced in '87, but I donno if they meant model year '87 or the year '87. I looked in that sticky thread at the top about what comes in what, and it didn't mention ABS until '88. So, was ABS introduced in '88 and, if not how can I tell if my car has ABS? I didn't see an ABS light among the idiot lights.

Thanks.

Easy way to find out (or rather, a fun way):
Go to a wet parking lot, floor it, brake hard, and if the pedal 'punches' then you have ABS. Ha, I really don't know how else to tell. Sorry.

just look near the passenger side of the engine in the far corner next to the fire wall....big bulky piece with some brake lines attached to it...if you see it...you got it....:|

Yeah, I'd suggest doing that compared to my method. That sounds more logical.
