about to weld diff mount in place.

going to weld my diff mount to the brocken bracket on my car tomorrow. im just takin it to my exhaust shop so we wont be dropping the subframe. just want to see if anybodies done it this way and if it worked or not.

picture the setup from the front:

Diff | Metal plate | Rubber part of diff mount | Second metal plate| Subframe bracket

I plan to weld a stitch straight down here....................................^
ill it hold up? just the right plate on the diff mount to the 90deg bracket on the subframe.

thanks folks

I welded three pieces if 1/4' plate steel with the rubber in the middle for placement. six months and a heavy foot and it still holds. there is a slight increase in diff noise but it is not bad.
