Question About Turbo Timer

Hi all,

I have bought a turbo timer and i want to install it on my 91 TII but because i don't want to do anything stupid (like talking everything off from my rx just to find that the connector is in front of my eyes) could someone tel me what do i have to remove to find the appropriate cables and which rx-7 cables should be patched with my turbo timer (Greddy). I am not asking for sensors, just the usual acc, ignition...

Thanks

i was wondering the same thing. i have a GReddy turbo timer for my car (but the dude didn't have the harness)...i don't mind getting a harness for $10...but what is involved in installing it. i'm guessing i gotta take the plastic covering off around the steering wheel and ignition?

the wires are actually underneath the steering column. just take off the plastic piece with the little vent on it right underneath the steering column. it is hella easy with the harness, so i couldn't really tell u how to do it with splicing the wires and ****. also, u have to tap into the emergency brake line, which is right underneath the center console, like the change holder and mirror adjusters. hope that helps some.

Exclamation Watch out for them Turbo Timers

My HKS one sometime starts counting down while I'm on the highway. when it hits zero my car shuts off and I'm just coastinGG!
Ever since I disconnected it I just sit around my car and count. I don't mind it cause I like leaving my car in 2nd gear when i'm Parked.
Hope I could find what the problem is this spring.
