Arrow About a T5 Transmission

Does anyone know about putting a mustang t5 transmission in an FC? i heard its possible or something. and it will give ur car a great amount of extra "umph" and zoom. i hear itll fit right in bolt holes match right up and all. well if anyone knows about this let me know. cuz i heard about it quite a few times. and if it is a good idea to get it dropped in there.

Well, you may have heard of it a lot but I have never seen or heard of it. I also am not so sure of how they mean it will give your car extra oomph because it is just a tranny. Maybe the gearing will make your car feel faster.

Interesting. It retains the bellhousing but looks like it will require some other work to get it to work.

"The transmission was a '53
And the motor turned out to be a '73
And when we tried to put in the bolts all the holes were gone.

So we drilled it out so that it would fit
And with a little bit of help with an A-daptor kit
We had that engine runnin' just like a song"
