? about injectors for a TII

My friend has a 1990 TII. he needs to know what are some of the larger injectors than can be run off the stock setup. He has a 88 block with a mild port, a 3" dp, 3" exhaust<no cats>, and has a y pipe and the two exhausts. He has a nice fmic he want to install in place of the tmic, but said he wants to make sure theres enough fuel. He currently is running at 8psi.
Any thoughts? He's only been on here once, but you can pm him.. yellowTII
Thanks.

on the stock ecu without any piggyback from what i read you cant really mess with the injectors unless you get a piggyback fuel system, or new ems outright

Thanks. He was wanting to crank it up higher than the 8psi its currently running, but was concerned about not having enough fuel.

does he have a fuel cut defender? if he mods much more, or just drives on a very cool day he could hit fuel cut and put himself in a position where his motor could be damaged, or killed

A pair of GSL-SE injectors will drop right in for secondaries. I've also heard that they are underrated in capacity. I guess you would need to wire in resistors, but that's no big deal.

Definetly needs a FCD and you can get 720cc injectors for the secondarys those fit with out a problem. Also rewire and upgrade fuel pump and get a FPR. This should cure any fuel problems he has while in stock form.

At onetime I had a G-Force chip (no FCD) and 850cc's on the 2nds and ran 15psi on the stock turbo and TMIC....The turbo screemed STOP! but did it anyway and ran a 12.1 @116mph on bald S02's....NO BS! I had a fuel pressure & A/R guage and it didn't lean out at all...Ohhh and I had x 2 Bosch 650hp fuel pumps

You can get those style of chips for 300-400 and the injectors are cheap too

First off all the 720cc are not acctually drop in, you must install some 10ohmX10watt resistors because your stock injectors are high impedence and the 720s are low impedence, you best bet is to go to the junkyard and find some GSL-SE injectors 680cc I belive but when you get them cleaned they usually say there 720s....bkapold@aol.com is there anyway you could post a time slip, what do you mean by the turbo scream Stop?

screamning stop meaning our turbo max out at 12 psi and he was pushing it. I believe bkapold@aol.com, well not really. But I do kinda because my friend had all stock setup only thing wasn't stock was an e-fan from a american car, F-CON/FCD - intake/ full exhaust - manual boost controller. Boosted to 15 PSI, ran 12.2 with slicks though forgot which kind.
