??? about ecu codes

my ecu says that my boost sensor is bad... would that cause my car to fall flat on its face when i try to lean into the gas. would this also cause my idle to sit around 1600-1700rpms..... it seems logical for the bad accelleration problem.. but what about the idle..... may be i'll have another code after i fixx this!!!!

Well, the boost sensor would give the ecu its vacuum reading at idle, so its quite possible.

That's about right, anywhere from $25-$50 sometimes. It could be that it's no longer holding vacuum and giving you a vacuum leak, thus the higher idle
