I have a chance to pick up a stock intercooler from a 93 RX7 for fairly cheap if I want it. My brother has a 92 MR2 Turbo and is looking for an intercooler upgrade, and I was wondering if there is anyone familiar enough with both cars who can help me out here. First of all, is the RX7 intercooler higher capacity than the MR2s and would it therefore increase performance? And secondly, will it fit in an MR2 without major modifications. We want to keep the intercooler close to the stock location (on the passenger side behind the side scoop) and not do a trunk-mount conversion. Any help is appreciated!
