929 MC Upgrade Problems

I recently purchased a 929 MC per the previous threads on the subject of upgrading the stock FC MC. Car is an 87 TII...my problem is that the MC's are different. As the picture shows, there is a black shaft that extends 1.5" from the MC that the stock MC does not have. The black staft is held in with a snap ring and activates the pistion of the MC. Has anyone run into this problem and come up with a solution? I tried fitting it to the car, but this shaft has no way of going into the stock brake booster.

I need help
Mike

the 87 uses a different brake booster. just go out and buy an 89+ brake booster. Then it will bolt up super easy.
