Ok... The Other Day I drove My 1990 RX7 Convertible to Publix Everything was completely fine... I Came home, Woke up the next day to leave and no accessories, or ignition power came on..... I put a new ignition, Checked the ECU, and Checked all the fuses.....The lights,Hazards, Electric Fan works! But like I said None of the accesorie lights in the middle of the dash came on period... Car doesnt turn over or nothing... Im horrible with knowing where to start with electric problems... I checked the Starter Wires and Alt Wires also completely fine... If any solution or suggestions Please Let Me Know! Would be a Major Help and Appreciate it RX7CLUB! (Topless_FC3S)

With the key to on do the wipers and or turn signals work? And what does " I put a new ignition" mean?

Does the radio work w/key to ACC and you need to answer the question I posed in my first message. The one about the ignition!

The "best" scenario is if your alt went bad and stopped charging your battery. Actually just went through this in my vert a couple of weeks ago!

He stated his lights work so if that is the case then his accesories with key to on should work such as wipers and turn signals. Chances are his main fuse is blown or the black wire that supplies constant voltage to the ignition switch is not connected properly.

I replaced the ignition(Wires and White Circle thingy) with another one...Just tested the Fuse Box(Test Light) and only half the fusebox is getting power.. I checked all the wires Connected to the fuse box none of them are burnt or anything.. So Why is only half the fusebox getting power..

Lets say the radio doesn't work w/key to ACC. Then you need to check the Main fuse in the "engine fuse box" and see if it is blown or not. This fuse is fastened in by screws so you just can't yank it out. You could check the Main fuse in another manner by checking the Black wire that comes out of the fuse box which then drops down below by a about a foot or so and connects to the Front harness via a black plug. If this Black wire has constant voltage, no key necessary, then the Main fuse is good. There are two Black wires that connect to the engine fuse box. The one going to the fuse box from the battery has voltage and I can tell this because your headlights work but you need to check the Black wire for constant voltage that comes "out" of this fuse box. Either this wire doesn't have voltage or the connector located below the fuse box that I mentioned is faulty and not allowing the voltage to pass through or the Black wire at the ignition switch is not connected properly.

Are you sure you checked the outgoing versus incoming. If both had voltage (both Black wires connected to the engine fuse box) then you're good there but the outgoing Black wire goes to the ignition switch thus you need to find the plug with the Black wire alongside the steering column and check for the same voltage there. The Black wire is in the same plug as the Black/White wire.

is this connector suppose to have constant power etc.. it doesnt even have power with the key forward..its the connector right under the Brake Master cylinder... with 2 thick black wires going into it.. one is Black/Green other wire is Black/Red

Those two wires are part of the starting circuit and should not be focused on. Look at the pic below and this is the connector that takes the outgoing Black wire that is part of the Engine harness and joins it to the Front harness which then takes this wire to a plug that also has a B/W wire that connects to the ignition switch. The Black wire needs to have voltage for it passes voltage onto other wires depending on whether you have the key to ACC, on or start. If this Black wire that eventually connects to the ignition switch is w/o power then none of the Acc, IG1 or IG2 fuses will have power. The only interior fuses that will have power are powered via a 60 amp fuse found in the engine fuse box and this powers the battery bus fuses in the interior fuse box.

So your car now works or you just tested the Black wires for voltage at the connector and if you tested for voltage did you happen to check both wires at this connector?

Yes I checked both wires... both have power.. car accessories still arent working and motor still not turning... Friend tested the fuse box under the dash and said half of the fuse box isnt getting power, whatever that means... I think he tested the wires connected to it.. not sure..

I've said it at least four times if not more but this Black wire connects to the ignition switch under the dash right next to the steering column and connects to the ignition switch via a two wire plug that has the Black wire in addition to a Black/White wire. Please check this wire at the ignition switch. And if it has power then turn the key to ACC and check if the Blue wire connected to the same switch has voltage or not and with the key to "on" the B/W wire should have voltage as well in addition to the Black/Red wire that is part of the plug that houses the Blue wire. All these wires take the voltage from the Black wire and sends it to the interior fuse box so the rest of the fuses will have power.
