91 vert, no start

I should start with the fact that I did search, but I am hoping someone will read this and be able to help since I am having trouble finding info helpful to me.

I just bought a vert in need of a tranny.... new one was swapped in and I drove the car down the street....noticed tach quit working and guages bouncing (bad ground) so I went back to the shop and the main ground was reconnected. Next test drive and after about a mile the MOP step motor went out.... I replaced that motor with one off my FD motor, car ran great for about 5 minutes, then as I was backing out for 2nd testdrive since MOP prob, the car died..... now I am getting no spark and no check engine light when I turn key to ACC..... I borrowed a computer from another car, still nothing..... any ideas? I wanted so bad to own and enjoy a rotary car (selling my FB and converting my FD to LS1) but this is becoming very annoying and I'm inclined to do engine swap in this one as well.

nevermind, blown main fuse.... its my fault for having gone on someone else's judgement that it was good and not check for myself.... bolts were loose on fuse, hopefully there will be no more issues b/c of it
