Question 91 TurboII will not idle after warm up. Car idles fine when cold.

1991 Turbo II

Vacuum tested, no vacuum leaks.
Checked the codes, not throwing any codes.
New fuel pump, new injectors.

On cold start car will crank up normal, idle at 1500rpm until the car warms up. Once the car warms up rpm's drop and car will die. Car is unable to idle when warmed up. car stumbles to stay alive when the gas peddle is pushed anywhere under 1500rpm. After the rpm's get pass 1500rpm car will respond nicely with the tap of the peddle, if idle drops below 1500rpm then the car requires half peddle or more to stumble up past 1500rpm.

Any idea of what could be changeing after the car warms up that will kill it? Computer code? Fuel? Ignitors?

Clogged fuel filter or bad fuel? Or is your bac hooked up correctly? Also check fuel pressure

Most likely a vacuum leak. The reason why it's idling when cold is because the fast idle system holds the throttle open until hot coolant closes it.

Vacuum system asside, if it had something to do with the fuel system what would it be? Also after the car idles, warms up, then dies, the only way to get it to restart is you have to hold the throttle open. Any ideas?

new fuel pump, new injectors.
