91 n/a tranny/shifter problem...need help

Ok, a couple weeks back I put the car into reverse (it has been having trouble going into reverse for some time now, and also 5th), and I put it in 1st, and started to disengage the clutch and go just like normal...only the car didnt move and it just revved, so I said ok, put it back in neutral, and tried 1st again, same thing. Well in neutral it stalled out.... turns out where neutral is, it was actually in reverse, and wehre 1st and 2nd were it didnt go anywhere. It wouldnt go into where 3rd and 4th are and wouldnt even go all the way over to the right in neutrla to wehre 5th and reverse are, I need help, this happened two days before it was getting sold.

Its hard to say what it is. It can be bad hydraulics, stripped clutch, bent internal shift forks, stripped gears, etc...
your going to need to do some more troubleshooting.
