91 Integra vs 88 GXL win or loose?
Alright, so my firend's got a 91 integra with just intake and exhaust on it. Long story short, he challenged me to race, i refused of course because street racing is ******* stupid.
However, i would still kinda like to know who'd beat who here... Mine's a stock GXL with the RB full exhaust... post your opinions.

I raced an Integra once when I first got my car and few weeks into getting my liscence. He was an LS 140hp. Had MSD, Intake and Exaust.
I was stock 89GXL and may have possibly had a 6th port closed but he took me. His rear bumper few feet infront of my front bumper and same outcome the 6 times we raced. Never reved out 3rd fully but I did notice I barely start to catch up around 8krpms before I shifted.

hi
If your car is running perfect or stock power pluss an exaust I would say yes you can beat him but who knows unless you do.
WIll say this. No LS would beat me after the mods in my sig.

i know wrong board, but my bro is a 2nd gen owner, i have a gslse 1st gen and i beat a gsr integra once, with exhaust, maybe intake. i beat a 91 hatch with a b16a2 (civic si motor) and beat him from a roll and light, so maybe your guys car is just too damn heavy!and i beat a 02 sentra seR spec V at the track. just my 2 cents.. also my bro has the se 2nd gen with fuel inj taken off, with a 45 side draft, full exhaust and full igniton, wed be dead even through 1st and 2nd gear but in 3rd he would start to pull me. so i dunno.

Stock for stock, both turn in identical low 16 1/4 times. It's up to the drivers and modifications.
I should also mention as a big Honda/Acura guy myself, the 13B Rotary responds to modifications much better then the Honda B18A1. The RWD only helps this advantage.

does a head swap count as a modification? because if it does, the b18a responds pretty well to it.
I would say the integra would win, since it is slightly modified, and your car is stock, and becuse it sounds like your friend has probably raced more than you.

Integras and FC NAs are both slow (16-17 range). In the forum "general automotive" on this site, search for "automotive performance" and a thread listing stock 1/4 mile times for many cars, including the integras and fcs, will come up. FC NAs and Integras are in the mid - upper 16 second range according that data. *yawn*

I have a 1991 Coupe that ran hella good before it flooded. Anyways, I raced my friends 95 GSR and he took me by a car. Considering the fact, that he had all basics with act 6 puck. And mine was stock, but ran really good. And yet, there was another NA FC, that took me 3 cars. RX-7=160hp,140tq, 91integra 135 hp, 120tq, im not sure about a series 4 rx-7 tho. I believe its 150hp, 130tq
