I was just wondering in your opinion if I put a 13B in a 91 GXL would this be a pretty trustworthy car. It will be my second car and a friend of mine had an 88 Turbo II and I really loved that car and would like to buil one of my own. I am going to put the 13B in a non turbo body for insurance reasons I just want to know if it will be reliable or I am getting into more than I know. the only thing I am not worried about is one of my teachers at school has built RX7's for years and has one of the fastest road racing RX7's on the east coast so he can help me on some stuff what would you all do.

 

You might want to explain a little more. The '91 comes with a 13B engine from the factory. Maybe your talking about installing a 13BT into the car. If that's the case, lots of work/money. Let us know if we're on the right track.

 

Yea sorry see don't know to much about the RX7 yet yea I meant the 13BT the motor thats in the turbo II. Well a guy in town who used to own a turbo II said buy a motor and change the wiring harness and your good to go.

 

Lot more parts than just a block and wiring harness. Any engine swap is never, EVER that easy.
