Question 90'GXL price???

There is a 1990 GXL for sale on state street in utah. There asking 3,995 for it, not knowing one of it's problems. 3,995 is way to high anyways but I noticed that the rear-end has been replaced by an older model RX-7 (s4), because of the tail lights, and the trim from the car doesn't match. So the car has obviously been rear-ended. Also the paint is faded pretty bad. It has over 110,000 miles on it.
What price do you think would be fair?

Be careful bro....ive had my bad luck with rebuilt cars......cars that have been in a total loss and rebuilt to state specs....

Check the inside of the driver side door..not the door but the chassis.....there should be a rebuilt sticker there if it was.....

Check the engine bay, around the strut bars and the same in the back and see if you notice any signs of the body being straightened.....

If that is the case, id take off $1500 just for that.....then check normal things....engine leaks, drivetrain, interior, check the idle.....turn it on and quickly turn it off then see if it fires back up.......

either way, i wouldnt pay more than 2500 if it was just a rear end collision and the car is in good shape

Crashes sucks and you never know if the person who fixed it knew what he was doing.....

Idealy, id just look for another car

oh...and do a carfax report if you really want it

So, pretty much no more than $2,500 right? Because I got them to drop the price to $2,600.

Do you think that's Fair? Or should I see if he'll go lower?
