I bought my 16" Permacool and Permacool install kit from Summit.

Prepare for a big discussion on the usefulness of an e-fan.

Black Magic Flex a Lite.... This was the standard efan to use on a rotary vehicle before the Fiero efan trend. I have used my Flex a lite for over 5 years without any mayor problems (the internal themo sensor on the efan doesn't work anymore, so the fan is on at all times).

are you planning on mounting it in front of the radiator as extra cooling or removing the stock fan and putting the e-fan in its place???

On all the time as in when you turn it off too? Aren't they suppost to be hooked to a power source that is on all the time? I noticed that a lot of the cars running them will still have them going when they are shut off until the temp drops back. As far as fans I've seen, the ones that have the biggest CFM ratings that I've seen are the black magics. Something on the order of over 2500 cfm which seems pretty damn good.

I use the Fiero fan with no problems. fits nearly perfect. Have a electric fan controller from summit, also works great.

I have a fan with 3 speeds from a ford 92-96 escort. It fits the stock rad like it was made for it. Also on high speed it will move more air than you can stand. Oh high speed it will move so much air you will have to shout to talk to someone else. 30 bucks from any bone yard.

Are you having problems with the stock fan? Unless the thermoclutch failed, no electric fan is going to cool any better.

Anything extra you gain from less parasitic drag when getting rid of the clutch fan will be evened out (no gain overall) by adding more of a draw on the electrical system because of the e-fan.

unless his clutch fan is frozen from age and spins continuously (like mine).

anyway check aaroncake's website. he has a great FAQ on e-fans.
