90 n/a to turbo2

just trying to get some help. i'm about to pick up a turbo2 that needs rebuilt. i have a 90 n/a streetported/rebuilt about 30k miles on it. i'm thinkin instead of rebuilding the t2 i could just use all teh turbo parts to turbo my 90 n/a engine. wondering wat you think, good idea bad idea? how reliable would it be? how long would it last? what would you do? any feedback will help thanks

Check out Aaron Cake's build thread(s)...he's already done what you want to do.

You can bolt all the turbo stuff onto the NA engine if you modify it appropriately. I did not do this. The lower intake must be port matched to meet up with the 6 port block and you need to take care of things like coolant and wate feeds.

My turbo-NA build can be found in the FAQ and Archives, two places you should check before you post a thread.
