'90 GXL brake questions

I'm in the market for an Rx-7 (for track use) and am about to take a look at a '90 GXL.

When it comes to brakes, I was wondering why I can't find any big brake kits for this car. From what my searches have gathered, the '90 GXL's came with 4 piston calipers on 10.9" ventilated rotors up front. I have also read that they had ventilated rotors in the back as well.

What kind of calipers do they have in the back, single piston? How WIDE are the rotors in front and back?

Obviously this setup is plenty adequate for the street, but have any of you road racers wished for more?

Also, since these cars are getting old, have any of you guys rebuilt your calipers? Did you use an OEM kit or an aftermarket? How much did it cost?

Any info you guys can give me on brake upgrades, besides the obvious (pads, cross drilled rotors, steel lines) would be much appreciated.

lets see. i have rebuilt 4 piston fronts. the rebuild kit costs like 25 bucks and does 2 calipers. it's a fairly simple job. rebuilding the rear is a little more of a pain.

as far as big brake kits, i really haven't heard many complaints about the brakes, though i have not raced my car myself.

the rear brakes on your car are single piston calipers with 10.75x.79 inch vented rotors. front rotors are 10.87x.87 inch (from the service manual).

hopefully someone else can chime in and help with the bigger brakes questions.

Most IT racers use the stock brake set-up, it's purty good.
