Question '90 to '88 exhust?

here's the question...

i have an exhaust from my 1990 gtu. it's an a'pex n1 racing exhaust, super high flow cat and custom header. i was wondering if there are any differences between the model years for the exhaust systems. my new rx-7 is an '88 gtu and i'd like to swap out the exhaust.

thanks.
