What is the difference between a vert rear trans mount and a coupe? On the mazdatrix web site it has different Y-blocks then the coupe. Is the crossmember different to? I have a 89 vert that was once a auto and am having problems figuring this out. I have the adapters for the tunnel mount bolted up but I don't have the y-blocks figured out yet. I bought some poly trans mounts from banzai racing but can't get them in between the crossmember and the Y bracket. No matter what I try it seems like they just don't line up. I think I might have the auto crossmember. Previous owner did the conversion and did everything else by the book. But he just left the y bracket with no y blocks.
I searched but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for...
Thanks for the help

Post pics. Sounds like you either have mixed series, crossmember & trans or possibly a TII crossmember. The poly trans mounts are all the same so if something is not lining up then it is in the bracketry.
