89 Vert Motor swap...Help!
Just checking to see if anyone is in the Pensacola, FL area interested in helping with an engine swap on my 89 vert. Just putting in another n/a motor with less miles and compression unlike the original. I just started today and the first problem I'm having is getting the power steering pulley off. The manual says to put a screw driver between two bolts on the front but that's impossible to do and have a socket on the center nut that I'm trying to get off. Any suggestions? And if anyone wants the experience around here than drop me an email because I could sure use the help. All I have to do is get the accessories off of the motor that's in it and swap them over to the block that's going into it. Easier said than done is what I've come to find out. Thanks and any advise is welcome.

Why do you need to take the pully off in the first place?
leave the accessories in engine bay and just drop the new engine in. Just take the AC compressor off and let it stay where it is, then take the power steering/AC bracket off and tie it to the drivers side strut tower. then when you get the new engine in, just bolt it back up.
If you really wanted to take the pully off though, you should be able to fairly easily. I cant look at my car now, but you can probably stick a screwdriver in one of the bolt holes and use socket on center nut.
