89 tII need help with some some wiring, power problems.

Ok guys I need some help with this project.I tried to turn it over today for I could get some compression #s.
Its a jdm motor and I removed the rat nest.Using the us harness and computer though.
First problem no power to the starter. We jumped wired it and got it to turn over but can not figure out why its got no power to the starter.Could it have anything to do with the security crap on the car?
2nd Can some one tell me where in the world the wire is or the color to the coolant temp sensor thats on the side of the block next to the oil sending unit.I can not find it on the wiring harness to save my life.
Its a 89 tII

As for the starter problem, check the clutch switch on the clutch pedal assembly and see if its hooked up.
I dont know much about the S5 if they are the same as a S4 since I had S4s forever(Ive own a S5 with a jdm swap for about a week now lol) but this diagram should help.

Also, i think the temp gauge sending unit wire is yellow/white, I have to dbl check that

Edit:
yea, the temp gauge wire is Yellow/white, its on the emissions wire harness.
