Question 89 intake manifold

I have a 89 intake manifold I purchased off of a mechanic, what can I strip off of it to use for the my 88 intake manifold. ( I would have liked to do the swap but I don't have the resources)

Its use the whole thing or nothing from my limited knowledge on the subject. What do you have in mind for swaping? There is nothing I can think of that would be even close to compatable.

You will need to swap the entire 89 intake onto your 88. That includes the Upper, lower and dynamic chamber.

You will also need to grind a little on your 88 engine to make it fit. If you use the search function both here and in the achive, you should be able to find a complete write up of the swap.

Mind you, you will only gain about 10HP only at the upper rev range for the swap.
