89 GTU turbo upadate: 150 miles after rebuild

well i have 150 miles on my rebuild engine and surelly i have a problem. and i probably have to tear the engine apart. everything started yesterday that i notice that the oil pressure was dropping from normal. so i thought it was the O ring on the front cover because it when from 60 psi at 2500 rpm to almost 45 at 2500 and 50 at 3K. so i check and it wasnt so i thought it was the oil presure regulators nd i was gonna check tomorow but tonight when i was stopped on a stoplight i heard it, a clunking noise, i open the hood and it sound comes from the motor. so i think is a bearing. ohh well time for tear down again.

my brother's rebuild (S5 GTU) had some wierd oil pressure problems at first, which disappeared after the 2k mile break-in and few oil changes. I wouldnt tear it down yet

Your oil pressure readings....off the stock gauge?

You already took the front cover off?

What would have caused the oil pressure to drop in the first place? Is this a turbocharged N/A or Full swap?

the stock gauge is absolutly terrible

and even with those readings I don't think thats really bad

once again the stock gauge blows but i've had mine drop to 0 and the car was running the exact same

do you notice a change in revs or powerloss?
