ok so i went and looked at this amazing s5 GTU

its an 89 with 57k on the engine and chasis

It is in marvelous condition inside and out aside for some clear coat coming off


but!


I started it up and it has a problem idling

it will idle, then drop down and stall out

and it is having some engine problems like:

It will not rev past about 5k

It will not go past about 60 MPH

and

It will barely pull uphill

have to drop down to first gear to make it uphill


The guys asking 400 bucks for it, and i'm definitely buying it

but I am asking you guys what you think could possibly be wrong so that I can fix it quick and get it on the road

Vacuum leaks, electrical problems... it shouldn't be all that hard to fix.
