I installed black carpet for a 89-91 in my 88. There's just one problem. The 89-91 carpet has a big hole on the floor where the seatbelts mount to the floor like there is some big piece of plastic that is supposed to cover it. Does anyone have a picture of this. I'm trying to figure out what I can do without scrapping my plans.

i dont have a pic but if i remeber correctly it is a peice of carpet that covers the rest of the hole not plastic. i cant remeber if it is stuck on or actually attached though.. ill check 2moro and let you know

 

lol can't believe nobody ever answered this, very easy question. if you care which 5 years later you shouldnt but someone searching might its holes in the 89-91 all to accomodate the auto seat belts, lap belt and rewinding mechanism for main shoulder belt.that hang down on the tran hump etc.
