Need help identifying a piece and bad idle

So my 10thae has been a pain in my *** the whole time ive had it.
Now i had it running right and the intercooler popped off so while i was putting it back in i broke a piece, i dont have a working camera so ill circle it on a picture i found. idk what that piece is but when i broke it the car was still running fine.
then i let it sit for a while, i came back and now it wont hold an idle.
any ideas? does this part affect it?

The AWS valve. Your idle sucks now because there's a big vacuum leak. Remove the broken valve & seal off the openings on the intercooler and the UIM.
