88 vert radio install help!

I recently picked up this car and there was a radio in it but they way they hooked it up it was on all the time draining the battery. So I took it out and bought a new since the old one was made in 2000 lol.

Any ways question is where can I hook up the ignition wire, and the constant power wire. I looked at the fsm and the wiring diagrams suck.

P.s. my cig lighter doesn't work so I can't pull power offa that

Get a multimeter. If you cant afford the 5 dollar one from harbor freight, you probably shouldn't be jacking with the radio anyway. If you DO have one, and dont know how to use it, let me know and I'll let you know what to look for.

Haha I have a good snap on one but my brother has it in his rc bag. Anywho I got it all hooked up but it seems I hooked it up to both the red (ign/acc) wire and the yellow (constant power) both to acc/ignition switch. Because when I turn the car off all the settings and stations that I save are all deleted.

Blue/Red wire is the constant power wire.

What are the wire colors for adding aftermarket radio

LtBlue/White= +Accessory
LtBlue/Yellow= -power ant trigger
Red/Black=+ Lumination
White=Factory Amp Turn on
LTBlue/Red= 12v+
