88 Vert EGR Valve Removal
So I searched on this alot, so much good info on here. Sprayed carb cleaner and found a big vacuum leak at the base of the EGR, this is most likely my idle, poor city mileage, cold starting problem. I'm all set on blocking it off and sealing it up good. Just that I couldn't find much on the actual removal. I understand it's just two nuts, but do I HAVE to remove the UIM, and if I did, I would unbolt it from the passenger side where it meets the LIM, correct. I think if i moved the rats nest I could mabye get a wrench on the first nut, but the second is really tucked away.
Everyone makes this seem like a small project, but it appears removing the UIM is pretty involved?

I'm going to complete this mod next weekend, I will document with pictures along the way, as there are way too many posts asking the same questions. I will then make one thread and show the removal
Thanks,
Matt.
