88 Vert ECU= No Fuel Cut??

My turbo vert has some bad boost creep. I'm seeing 10 psi at times, but I'm not getting fuel cut somehow. It's not leaning out, nor is it doing the classic fall-on-your-face at 8.6 psi. Is that supposed to happen?

I'm using the wiring harness and ecu from the vert, if that matters.

I wouldn't have it any other way

If I'm under boost, I won't allow the AFR's to get above 12.

I wonder how the timing is under boost. I suppose if you're not getting any pinging under load, it's probably ok. The whole concept of using the vert ECU, and have it just "know" that it's now running a TII engine is odd. But if it works, it works.

There isn't any pinging at all, and I've had some nasty boost creep. Probably because I'm using one of those 255lph fuel pumps and an SAFC to lean the fuel trim out some in the low rpm range. Other than that, the vert ecu is actually working fine so I'm wondering if I REALLY need to get a standalone. I will eventually when everything is fixed, but right now I'm feeling ok with it.

The cooling is actually quite ok. I've never overheated; no boiling, nothing past 1/4 on the gauge, no problems at all. I think that air dam I put on her really helped, not to mention the fact that I sealed everything up so that no air can escape around the radiator now.
