88 vert clutch release arm question

Hello all,

I have an 88 vert with a non-working clutch and I have replaced the master and slave cylinders and I still do not get the clutch pedal to return. It feels like there is no pressure in the system, which seems kind of strange to me. I can't see any obvious leaks and when I open the bleeder I can get fluid out. I am pretty sure I have all of the air out of the system and the pedal will not pump up.

I tried moving the clutch release arm by hand and it does not move. Should I be able to move this?

I appreciate any help that any one can offer.

Thanks,
George

Your pressure plate is what supplies the force to return the clutch to it's neutral position. if your clutch is staying on the ground and you have no leaks, then your pressure plate is damaged, your throw out bearing is damaged, your fork arm is damaged, or the pivot **** is damaged.

any of the above your going to have to take the trans out to investigate.
