88 turbo II wont stay on most of the time
ok so i just got my 87 gxl about 2 days ago( has a 88 turbo II inside) and i went home to show it off and did some donuts and as i was doing them i think i went over 25 lbs of boost and blew my blow off vaulve right OFF!! but then i just stuck it back on no biggie but after that it will start but will not stay on. sometimes it will but for a very short time . at first i thought it was a vac leak but i am reading 15 to 18 for my vac so i dont think i am running a leak. I really have no clue about the 13b but im guessing im going to have to learn!
also was wondering if anyone could direct me to a quick bolt on guide for a body kit. ty

well in dont think i aloud all of the air to exit before getting back on the gas after i shifted so i think was building on top of the boost from first gear if that is possible. but i have seen my car exceed the 20 boost limit on my gauge so that is my reasoning for thinking i got it up to 25 lbs or more..

unmetered airleak on a stock airflap equip vehicle = stall
you have a HUGE leak where the BOV broke off
( the engine post the TB doesnt have any leak,, as indicated by 18 inch hg idle, the leak is before the TB and cant be measured,, but the airflap knows !!! )
