as title states I have had two tps sensors go out and am wondering if there is any other tps sensors that will work on the s4 fc?

Depending on your engine management situation, you can use nearly anything you want. However, I'm not aware of anything that uses the plunger/roller style TPS that would be easily adaptable. If you got into an FD UIM/TB you could use a more modern style TPS which is driven directly off the throttle shaft.

nothing even close to plug n play. if you are decent with fabrication you can make a bracket for other 'through the shaft hole' sensors (lol). those however will require removing parts from the throttle cams and losing some functionality of the TB items.

^agreed. if you're contemplating this as it only reads the first 30% throttle.... i see why.

I recently converted my s4 car to all s5 electronics, but that was for california smog regulations.
I will say tuning it off of a safc reading the tps is much easier.....

But i will say, and do some research on this before judging and so you know what you're doing, you can run a safc wired to the boost pressure sensor instead of the tps, to get a tune based on load.

I did this on my s4 t2 setup with a rtek 1.8 and it worked brilliantly. People argue against it, but DSM guys did it all the time, and I had zero problems... but again, do some research if this is the reason why.

Convert to power fc, and run a s5 throttle body/tps setup. or fd setup as stated previously
