Ok i was wondering if this set up would be appropriate... Of course the engine is in top notch shape and has 60k miles on it.

Im not concerned with HP numbers just want something reliable and fun.

Will this be a reliable set up. I dont live near a dyno so this set up would run on the rtek 1.7 tune. Second, with this set up would it be wise to upgrade the rad? especially because of the FMIC possibly blocking airflow to the smaller rad core?

About the rad, I have greddy fmic and only encountered a slight cooling problem( just when I had a lead foot for a while) but I also didn't have my shroud for the fan. I think when I put that on it will be o.k. So, in other words, fmic should be alright. The set up sounds good, you planning on doing it all at once? Similar to the set up I have, and the car is a blast!! You will have a good time with that set up.... but you will want more in the end, everybody does

 

yea bro you should replace teh rad. I picked up a Koyo off ebay 250 new, and a taurus efan at pickapart 15bux. now i have 0 cooling issues.

 

Ya planning on doing it all at the same time

If im aching for more power, im sure i can gain some in a year if i get a ems and tune is with a bit more boost like 12 psi . If im still anxious for more ill sell the stage 1 and upgrade to a stage 3 or something.
