88 T2 build begins

So I bought this red 88 T2 last august, paying under ~2700 with 84K original miles. School has made it hard t find time to upgrade. But, I finally have some time and money, more importantly, to start. Here's what I've started with:

The only mods so far are a bonez intake, s5 talis, and stereo system.

This weekend/week it's gonna see: new downpipe, cat removed, air pump removed, pulleys, new radiator (godspeed), and some tune up parts.

I'm also planning on making a fibergalss sub box/amp rack b/c the 'temporary' sub box, which has been in the car for almost a year, is a little ugly. Okay it's very ugly (i'll post a pic soon).

If you look closely at the last pic you'll see some front end damage, so the front bumper will be changed soon.

Oh, and I'm certainly open for opinions on where this project could go. I'm shooting for ~375 WHP down the road. As for the exterior, I think I'm gonna keep it simple and go for a MS front lip and change the bumper (haven't decided what yet), after converting to s5 front bumper and mouldings. For wheels I've been considering powder coating FD wheels black, or going for an aftermarket black wheel. I'm def keeping it red.

Good luck, clean car.

I think you should check out Carl Bryck's ride http://forum.teamfc3s.org/members_ca...tos&car_id=562

His car was/is a very nice track monster. But it might be a little more than what you want or are thinking... But it is what I want someday...

Brings back memories....except mine was black, had 100k, and was just a lil cheaper

Make sure you do plenty of research, and buy parts that work together. Seems like you're off to a pretty good start.

Planning on opening up the exhaust eh?
You should be fine in warm weather w/ that setup, but even w/ the stock air box you might experience boost creep in cooler temps. and If you open up the intake you NEED to port the waste gate, upgrade to an S5 turbo....or both.

You should get a proper boost gauge if you plan to raise boost, the stock one is pretty much useless.

Next you might wanna look into an FCD to cancel out the stock fuel cut at 8.5 psi* .The stock injectors can handle 10psi on the stock turbo, but I'd definitely get them cleaned and tested, and even then I'm not sure how comfortable I'd be w/ the duty cycle.....then again when I got mine back they flowed 570cc
