well if your pump IS intact and working properly..
if your fuel sock IS not clogged...
if your baffles ARE in place...
if your fuel IS indeed high enough to rule out slosh starvation...

then your problem is somewhere else, chucking in a fuel cell and new pump might only bring you right back to square one after much dinking around mounting that thing.....id try and resolve this problem before you just throw a fuel cell in there...

are you hitting fuel cut?

Yea thats what i thought at first. Does that happen when you are roasting the tires in a turn or just a high speed sharp turn?

You are slowing down regaining grip. Change to a harder compund tire and try again. This is from personal experience. ANd i dont recall any problems with my car a all. I ran a harder compound(perelli something or others) and the problem went away.

I was running a generic type tire and i used up a set in about a month. just borrow so wheels with harder tires and try that. Also clutch kicking is not a good way to start a medium speed drift. Fient/sway, or a throttle lift should work for the speeds you are doing.

I am guessing from what you described a fairly long corner in 4th going into 3rd, unless I missed it some where in there other wise.

DTSS will not help drifting. Toe eliminators will help your car slide a lot easier. Look them up at Mazdatrix.com in the suspension section.
