I timed my car today and it is very slow. I mean, without launching it did 0-60 in 10.5 seconds consistently.
Launching at 3k with a bit of spin gave a 9.5s.

Then i did 40 - 80 in third gear and it was between 9.6 to 11.2 so u can say 10.4 average.

Anyone else do similar tests? what times do u guys get?

Is your car BONE STOCK? My friend's NA 87 RX7 with Intake, Exhaust and no CATS does 6.2secs 0-60mph, with him launching at 3500rpm. We tied down the actuators with zap traps. Seriously, he ONLY has I/E done to the car. He hits the quarter mile in 14.90 secs.

i had a black rx, i only did I/E and it ran a 14.7@4000feet elevation, 6sec 0-60 with a 2800 launch, it should be faster than that

I think most of these guys are embellishing a little bit. In stock form the 86-88 N/A RX7's do the 0-60 in about 8.5 seconds, and the quarter mile in about 16.5 seconds.

You can easily trim those numbers with some modifications, but breaking into the 14's is pretty uncommon, for an N/A, especially without porting.
