all the 88's use the same style blacked out cluster as the S5 models as well as the same reverse angle plastic trim panel.
All the FBXX panels (if you look at the back of the panel it will have a number like FB01 or FB04 or FB66) can be interchanged and used in any 86-88 model (however the trim and clear plastic panel may need to be matched to the 86-87 or 88 model year), but they all wire exactly the same.
They are not interchangeable with the 89-91 panels (FCXX- FC01, FC02, FC33, etc) though as the 89-91 use different wiring and have different functions (even though the 88 and 89-92 styles/appearance are the same).
