88 GXL Worth it?

ok.. My friend is looking at an 88 gxl. It has a new motor, with about 44k on it. has a full exhaust system, Racing clutch, K&N filtercharger intake, An extra set of rims with tires. Some sort of turbocharger.. i think its a to3, and FMIC, and a header, not installed but included. The clutch might need to be replaced. and there is a small rot hole on the side skirt on the drivers side. The seller was originally asking 2250. MY friend has gotten him to go to 1700 so far, but he wants to get him down to 1200. Now i personally think its easily worth the 2,000. just wanted to know what you guys think? Other than the small rot, The rest of the body is in great shape. Small dent in the back bumper. but it could probly be popped out witout much trouble. The way i see it is its worth the 2k just because he could sell all the extra parts for probly close to a grand. He doesnt believe its worth more than a grand.. but he is also a n00b to rotary. Anyone agree with me?

thats how i see it.. I mean cheaper is better, but he wants to go up to this guy and say "ill give you 1200, or ill go find another one" adn im almost positive the seller is gonna tell him to take a hike. as far as i know, the motor runs mint. he thinks there might be something wrong with the clutch, but its not like clutches dont go bad every now and again, anyway.

personaly i would take it. a clutch isn't that hard to install and while your at it you could just get an aftermarket clutch and a lighter flywheel. just my 2 cents.

its not turbo, its a GXL, but the person who owned it thought they were going to turbocharge it. the turbo is sitting in a box in the trunk, with the fmic, and what not. He said it has a header, im guessing its already installed on the N/A setup
