I want to buy a 1988 GXL from my neighbor. It has a rebuilt 13B with 25k on it and is being converted from auto to man by Atlanta RX-7. The body has about 170k on it. No rust as far as i know, and body is in good shape. The guy wants $3500 for it. Is this a good buy? I know this is the heavy model, but alot can be stripped. Anyone have any suggestions or comments?

 

Way too much. That car is worth about $1500-2500 depending on condition.
