88 gxl lsd help

I have an 88 gxl lsd that im swapping into my 87 sport
the lsd has a leaking front seal
And i would like to rebuild this lsd myself - before i put it in my 87
Does anyone have a write up or even some advice on how im supposed to do this ??

The front seal can be replaced quite easily. Remove the nut on the flange, slide out the flange and you will see the seal. The seal seal is rubber with a metal ring to it. Taking it out has to be done carefuly so that you dont scratch anything. Just pull it out slowly working your way around. The new one just taps in flush.

i meant the entire rebuild
or should i even bother with a rebuild??
