88 gxl, any answers will do?

when its in gear it runs fine until about 3800 rpm and then it sort of bogs out like its starving for fuel which would bring me to the assumption that it needs a fuel pump. also, how do you know if the 5th and 6th ports are opening and closing. there is a beeping coming from somewhere, its like beep beep beep, pause beep beep beep. and so on. it does it like 30 seconds after its been running. like i said any answers will do. thanks again folks.

3800 rpm is when the secondaries come on, they may not be opening.

Well does it go over 3800 if not then your secondary injectors might not be firing. Most FC's have the 3800 hesitation but they will eventually go over 3800. the beeping i don't know about. you can try to push the actuator rods with your hands they should move freely. also try putting some grease on the rods then go out and drive and then check if the grease was smeared around by the movement of the actuators.

The 3800 RPM stumble. The bane of the FC existance. There are literally HUNDREDS of threads on how to remedy this.

As for the 6-ports, put some grease on the shafts, and go for a good hard drive. If the grease has been moved off the shafts, the 6-ports work.

Yep like J-RAT said do a search for "3800 hesitation". You should find a multitude of information. That 3 beep sequesnce sounds like a Power steering computer problem.

To get rid of the beep though...first thing I'd check is fluid level...
