Unless the GTU is already a project/track only car I wouldn't trade a running car for one that doesn't.

He said "Rotary engine(turbo) doesn't start because of engine failure. "

It might be alot of different things which is the main reason I want to trade. A blown engine will still start and drive (I drove a tii that was running on 1 rotor).

It might be flooded
The grounds might not be good
The starter might be out
The fuel pump might not work or the fuel filter might be clogged

engine failure is pretty broad...

I was planning on swapping a tii into my GTU this summer, my car is completely stock besides the muffler and I think that trading this and putting another tii engine in/rebuilding the current one might be a cheaper route. I dont DD my GTU currently, im in college and leave it at home so transportation until I get the money wont be a problem.

If you have another DD then it'll be easier but you'll still won't be able to drive the turbo untill it's repaired and since you don't know the problem that could be a long time.

I sure miss mine.

Well it depends on a lot of thing. If we assume the turbo has a blown engine and everything else is in good shape then yes I would consider it a fair trade.

But you should wonder wheter you find it fair or not. If you think you can wait to get the funds for the repair and you want a turbo, why not? In the end it's all up to you.
