hey guys i just bought my car.. i dont know too much bout it but yehh.. its an 88 gt limited turbo.. anyone else have the same car? the only thing iv found wrong with it is that when i floor it from take off the car goes slow until the turbo kicks in and then it flys and everything is good.. but take off is slow.. help please. catchas!

 

Clogged cats could be causing a major exhaust restriction. As can a seriously clogged air filter. Or, the turbo could be on it's way out. Check shaft play. You will get a bit of play side to side but should have virtually none front to back. The wheels should not come close to touching the housings.
